Sally Jeanne Hursh, 57, of Owatonna, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at Homestead Hospice House.
She was born Aug. 19, 1950, in Owatonna, the daughter of John and Donna (Haberman) Hogan. Sally graduated from Albert Lea High School and later Mankato State University. She married James Hursh March 21, 1975, at St. Theodore&8217;s Catholic Church in Albert Lea. The couple has lived in Owatonna since their marriage.
Sally was co-owner of Cedar Travel in Owatonna since it opened in 1989. She was a member of the Elk&8217;s and the Owatonna Country Club. She enjoyed traveling, flower and vegetable gardening and golfing.
Sally is survived by her husband, Jim of Owatonna; mother, Donna Hogan of Albert Lea; sister, Sue (and Randy) Oswald of Frost; brother, Scott (Diane) Hogan of Farmington; father-in-law, Dale Hursh of Owatonna and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Saturday from 11 a.m. to
1 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Michaelson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to the Homestead Hospice House or to the donor&8217;s choice.
