ADAMS &8212; The Glenville-Emmons girls&8217; basketball team has played three close games to open the season, but a few big plays have not gone its way and as a result the Wolverines sit at 0-3.
Thursday, G-E led Randolph by one at halftime and had a six-point lead in the second half, but could not hold it as it fell 43-39.
The Wolverines were led by Kailey Davis&8217; 13 points and five assists while Jordyn VanRyswyk added 12 points, nine blocks and nine rebounds.

The Wolverines&8217; defense held Southland to just six points the first 11 minutes of the second half as G-E got as close as nine points.
