MAPLETON &8212; The Maple River girls&8217; basketball team was downed Alden-Conger 64-46 Monday.

The Knights trailed by just seven at halftime as they were able to break Maple River&8217;s fullcourt pressure.

A-C would fall behind in the second half as it had difficulty on the boards.

The Knights were led by Nadean Krueger&8217;s 15 and Krista Mathiason added 10.

A-C is now 2-11 on the season.
