FARIBAULT &8212; The Albert Lea boys&8217; basketball team fell behind early at Faribault and never recovered falling 75-41 in Big Nine Conference action.

The Tigers committed four fouls in the first seven possessions of the game and were back on their heels from there.

The Falcons played a very aggressive game which forced Albert Lea into several turnovers. Faribault took control of the game with a 14-0 run in the first half and had several easy shots throughout the game.

Jordan Hanson led the Tigers with 10 points and Evan Nolander had seven.

The loss dropped the Tigers to 1-7 on the season and 0-3 in conference play. Albert Lea is back in action Tuesday when they travel to Winona to face the Winhawks.
