Mower County DFL is hosting a Saturday forum/debate for the Democratic candidates contending for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by republican and former democrat Norm Coleman. Mike Ciresi, Jim Cohen, Al Franken and Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer have all been invited to attend the Democrat U.S. Senate forum/debate which will be held at the Frank Bridges Theatre at the Riverland Community College Campus in Austin on Saturday. The forum/debate will begin at 11 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m. with Sandra Sessions-Robertson, President and CEO of KSMQ Public Television moderating the event. Questions for the candidates will be submitted by members of the audience prior to the commencement of the event.
