Trevor Edlund, the 11-year-old grandson of Sandra and Keith Olson of Glenville, placed 18th at the Junior Olympics for ski jumping and nordic combined held in Ishpeming, Mich. the week of Feb. 26.

He competed on a 60-meter jump among 39 athletes from around the USA.

His competition jumps were 54 meters (171 feet) and 55 1/2 meters (182 feet).
