In doubles action Ben Robinson and Kevin Zogg lost 2-6, 1-6 at number one doubles. At number two doubles the first time team of Evan Nolander and Jake Thompson rebounded from a 6-7 loss to win two consecutive, 7-5, 6-4.
And at number three doubles Eric Volkman and Luke Thompson dropped their match 3-6, 6-3, 4-6.
&8220;As a whole I think we played really well today,&8221; said Tigers head coach Sean Gillam. &8220;We were really excited to go out there and play, but with this young line-up we are looking at this as a year long process.&8221;
The Tigers will be back in action Thursday when they travel to Mankato to take on West then will head to Northfield on Friday.
