Anna Sturtz of Albert Lea will present a joint vocal recital with Robert Johnson of Blooming Prairie today at 7:30 p.m. at Riverland Community College&8217;s Austin campus.

The recital is presented as a partial fulfillment of the requirements of the associate of fine arts degree in music. Johnson, a baritone, and Sturtz, a soprano, will present solo and duet works encompassing various styles and languages.

The event is open to the public.

Sturtz will also take part in &8220;Acting Out,&8221; an evening of theater featuring scenes, monologues and songs from the advanced acting/auditions techniques class, at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 6, in the Frank W. Bridges Theatre & Lobby at Riverland Community College in Austin.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Sturtz, the daughter of Robert and Lisa Sturtz of Albert Lea, is majoring in music and theater.
