Girl transported after jumping out of moving vehicle on I-90

A 17-year-old girl was transported by ambulance to Naeve Hospital after she jumped out of a moving vehicle on the westbound Interstate 90 overpass near state Highway 13 on Friday afternoon, according to Freeborn County Sheriff&8217;s Office reports. Reports indicated the girl was arguing with her mother over a cell phone as she was being transported to Elmore Homes in Elmore when the vehicle slowed down to about 30 mph as it was getting on to the interstate. She then jumped out of the vehicle. Reports did not indicate the seriousness of her injuries.
Juvenile arrested for DWI
A juvenile was arrested for fourth-degree DWI and criminal damage to property at 2:46 a.m. Sunday after the Freeborn County Sheriff&8217;s Office received calls of careless driving, reports stated. According to reports, the vehicle the juvenile was driving ran off the road and hit a sign on Powers Avenue in Alden.
Window busted out of store
A window on the Main Street side of Snyder Drug on West Main Street was reported broken at 3:14 a.m. Saturday after an alarm went off at the store, according to reports.
Man arrested for possession
Police arrested Timothy Abrego III, 21, for second-degree possession after a traffic stop at 7:46 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of James Avenue and East Fifth Street, reports stated.
Four cited for minor consumption
Four juveniles were cited for minor consumption during a walk-thru at Albert Lea High School prom at 9:52 p.m. Saturday, according to police reports.
Man cited for consumption
Police cited Ryan Offerdahl, 20, with illegal consumption at 11:03 p.m. Saturday on College Street after he threatened an off-duty officer in the alley, reports stated.
