GLENVILLE &8212; After struggling through a 4-15 record a year ago the Glenville-Emmons baseball team was wondering what had happened to its mojo.

The Wolverines seemed to have found it this year as they moved to 2-0 on the year after destroying Hope Lutheran 11-1 Monday afternoon.

GE fell behind 1-0 after the first inning but from that point on it was the Wolverines game as starter Jon Mittag pitched a solid five innings for the win.

The Wolverines evened the score at 1-1 after the second inning then went on to score two in the third, five in the fourth, one in the fifth, and two in the bottom of the sixth for the 10 run win.

&8220;Last year I didn&8217;t think it was a typical GE season,&8221; said Wolverine head coach Louie Toulouse. &8220;But this year everyone is contributing, its not just one or two guys and that&8217;s what makes a team.&8221;

With the win the Wolverines improve to 2-0 on the year and have now outscored their opponents 32-5 in just 11 innings of play. GE will host the Awesome Blossoms of Blooming Prairie today in Glenville.
