JANESVILLE &8212; It&8217;s tough to do anything perfectly in life, especially on a baseball field. But perfect is exactly what New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva&8217;s Dakota Tracy was Thursday afternoon when he threw a perfect no-hit game against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton for an 11-0 win.
&8220;Like I told him after the game, I think that was one of the most dominating performances I have seen in all my years of coaching,&8221; said Panther head coach Jeff Reese.
Tracy faced the minimum number of batters for a five inning game, striking out 13 of the 15 he faced, including a stretch of 11 consecutive K&8217;s.
The Panther offense helped out with seven hits, including a 3-for-3 performance by Payden Peterson. With the win the Panthers improve to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the Gopher Conference.
NRHEG will be back in action tomorrow when they host the Panther Invitational in New Richland.
