The Lake Mills softball team clobbered Sheffield-Chapin-Meservey-Thornton 12 -2 Tuesday behind the efforts of Jessica Lee and Sammy Nelson.

Lee kept the runs off the scoreboard while Nelson put them on for the Bulldogs.

Lee went seven innings, struck out one and only allowed two runs on three hits in the win.

Nelson had two hits and six RBIs for Lake Mills (3-1 overall) in the victory.

&8220;This is a true &8216;team,&8217;&8221; head coach Stacie Gaskill said. &8220;When one is down another helps them up. When one gets on base the others work to move the runners around.&8221;

Seven Bulldog hitters had multi-hit games and Holly Buffington had three of the 16 hits Lake Mills tallied.
