Marian Katzung, 92, Alexandria

Funeral services for Marian H. Katzung, age 92 of Alexandria, formerly of Albert Lea will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home.
The Rev. Don Rose will officiate. Burial will be at the Walter&8217;s Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Marian died on Thursday, May 1, 2008, at the Douglas County Hospital.
Marian Helen Katzung was born on April 14, 1916, in Wells, the daughter of John and Helena (Black) Miller. She attended country school near the farm home, and on Dec. 12, 1934, she was united in marriage to Wilbert Katzung in Wells. The couple farmed south of Walters retiring in 1978 to Albert Lea.
Marian enjoyed crocheting, hardanger, embroidery and travelling/RV&8217;ing with her family and friends.
Marian is survived by daughters, Janice Earls,( Jack deceased), Owatonna, and Beverly and husband James Wharton, Alexandria; five grandchildren, Jody Earls and friend Wayne Griffin, Joel Earls and friend Heather Schlottman and daughter Aubrianna, Jason and wife Michelle Wharton and their children Jaelyn and Mikaela, Renee and husband Christopher Miller and their children, Masen and Austin and Bryan Wharton, and friend Jessica Matsche, and daughter Kayle Ann; one sister, Adeline Arndt and brother, Harrison Miller.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wilbert, one daughter, one son, one brother and one sister.
