A benefit will take place July 19 for Clarks Grove resident Joe Mueller at Crossroads Evangelical Free Church in Albert Lea.

Mueller was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia in April 2007. The benefit will help cover medical expenses. Lunch begins at 11 a.m., with an auction at noon. The benefit ends at 3 p.m. The church is at 3402 Hoeger Lane.

Mueller is a mechanic at Dave Syverson Auto Mall. His wife’s name is Deb, and they have two children.
