Special People in Religious Education had their first day camp at Prairie River Camp at Bricelyn June 7.

Seventy-three people attended from two counties. The day’s full program was highlighted with a concert by Deliver Me, covered wagon rides and a petting zoo. Crafts, food, and yard games were among other activities. Though storm clouds gathered, everyone had a good time.

S.P.I.R.E. wishes to thank yhe community, the volunteers, and friends who helped with donations of time and finances. We cannot exist without you. A special thank you to the family of Karen Thisius for the memorial funds to provide the petting zoo and concert and to Donald Rauenhorst for bringing the houses and covered wagon.
