The Albert Lea Lake Canoe Adventure with the Shell Rock River Watershed District and Community Education will be 10 a.m. Saturday. The canoe trip will start by the Little Island boat landing at Myre-Big Island State Park (a daily pass for the park is $5). Canoes, paddles, snacks and life jackets will be provided — bring personal life jackets for the best fit as they are required. Children must bring their own life jackets. Participants must sign a liability waiver.

To sign up for the canoe trip, stop by the Shell Rock River Watershed District office in the Freeborn County Courthouse or call 377-5785.

In case of inclement weather, the trip will be canceled and participants will be notified by 9 a.m. Saturday.
