Albert Lea city staff interviewed the last individual for the vacant city attorney position Friday, City Manager Victoria Simonsen said. After that interview, staff were set to talk about whether to go forward with interviewing interested firms.

The position was vacated by former City Attorney Steve Schwab, who was seated as the new Freeborn County District Court judge on Sept. 2.
