I had an opportunity to listen to candidates for Freeborn County Commissioner District 5 at City Hall recently. I was very impressed with Mr. Mike Lee. Mr. Lee is a lifelong resident of Freeborn County and understands the difficult decisions commissioners need to make. He wants to promote economic development, agriculture and assure we have safe roads. Mike also talked about broadcasting county board meetings and having his own “town hall style meetings” to listen to our concerns and make government more easily available to citizens of the county.

Mike Lee is a refreshing political voice and would make an excellent county commissioner. Please join my family and me in voting for Mike Lee on Sept. 9.
