As a resident of Albert Lea’s 2nd Ward, I can honestly say that I’m jealous of Albert Lea’s 3rd Ward residents who have the opportunity to elect one of this community’s more upstanding, enthusiastic and hard-working members — Ryan Sabinish.

As a longtime friend I know that he will work hard at serving not only residents of his ward, but also this city as a whole as a city council member. What more could this community ask for from a candidate whose desire to serve his community is matched only by his dedication to serve his country as a Purple Heart veteran of the U.S. National Guard. As life-long residents, both Ryan and I have grown up in this community and continued to stay rooted to what has always been our hometown. I believe that Ryan has the perspective needed to maintain many of the things that we enjoy about this community as well as the initiative to look for ways in which we could improve it.

Hopefully, come Nov. 4, Albert Lea’s 3rd Ward residents will vote for one this community’s hometown heroes, Ryan Sabinish.
