KIMT News 3 announces the promotion of Dave Hansen to managing editor.

Hansen’s role as managing editor will be in addition to his duties as 5, 6 and 10 p.m. anchor. An experienced broadcaster, Hansen’s career started at a radio station in Rochester.

During his broadcasting career he has won numerous awards for general and investigative reporting.

“Dave’s new responsibilities will allow him to work more closely with reporters,” KIMT News 3 News Director Greg Berry said. “It will allow him to pass on his experience to KIMT’s reporters on a daily basis.”

Hansen has two decades of news experience and has been with KIMT News 3 for the last year.
