Children’s program was delightful

On a recent Sunday I was very lucky to visit the Emmons Lutheran Church and it just so happened to be the children’s Christmas program. The children ranged from 3- and 4-year-olds to sixth and seventh grades. They all marched in carrying banners of the alphabet and each one got up and gave a short message of the letters connecting to the birth of Jesus. The church rang with their voices, and we applauded them several times. They sure had the spirit. It was by far one of the best Christmas programs I have seen, and I’ve been to a lot of them as I’ll be 79 in June. Pastor Julie has bounced back from her illness, looking good again. We are all multi-millionaires if we are healthy and happy. Just had to blow my horn again!
