A snowstorm dumped anywhere from 3 to 6 inches of snow in places around the region, and many schools this morning have postponed the start of classes.

The schools announcing two-hour delays are Albert Lea, Alden-Conger, Blue Earth, Glenville-Emmons, Lake Mills, Northwood-Kensett, United South Central, Hollandale Christian School, United Preschool, Montessori Children’s School of Albert Lea and St. Theodore Catholic School.
