Mankato Loyola proved no threat for the No. 7-ranked New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva girls’ basketball team Tuesday in a 62-38 win in Mankato.

Alyssa Kerkhoff scored 27 points and Kelsey Christensen and Kate Quam added 10 points each in the victory as the Panthers (16-0, 8-0) remained undefeated.

“The girls played great team basketball tonight,” said NRHEG head coach Mindy Sparby. “We passed the ball very well, and hit the open looks when we had them.”

The Panthers take on Bethlehem Academy Thursday in New Richland.
