Twelve members of the Albert Lea High School bands participated in the Section 1A Solo/Ensemble Contest on Jan. 31 at Lakeville South High School. The Minnesota State High School League-sponsored event allows musicians to perform in an individual or small group setting before a certified adjudicator. Judges can provide written and/or verbal feedback, and assign a score and rating of superior, excellent or good.
