Robert Christopherson

Robert H. Christopherson, 56, of 11600 161st St., Chippewa Falls, town of Anson, Wis., died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, as a result of a snowmobile accident.
He was born March 6, 1952, in Albert Lea, the son of Herman and Helen (Hansen) Christopherson. He graduated from Freeborn High School in 1970 and Augustana College in 1974.
Robert married his “bride” and best friend, Deborah Jean Hoeft on June 17, 1995, in Chippewa Falls.
He had been working for Schilling Paper Company.
He loved anything that kept him young such as snowmobiling, boating, family, friends and parties. He was loved by all who knew him. His smile lit up the room. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
Robert is survived by his wife, Deborah Jean; one daughter from his first marriage, Gretchen Christopherson of Burnsville; his mother, Helen Christopherson of Hartland; his mother-in-law, Sonja Hoeft-Munson of Welch; one brother, Dale (Jane) Christopherson and one sister, Judy (James) Hendrickson both of Hartland; sister-in-law, Lynda (Teryl) Apel of Rochester; brothers-in-law; Fred (Mona) Hoeft of Rochester and Thomas (Mary) Hoeft of Mantorville; nieces and nephews: Holly (Christopher) Dahl, Douglas Christopherson, Dennis (Becky) Hendrickson, Paul (Maria) Hendrickson, Ronda (Chad) Staloch, Wyatt (Faith) Apel, Travis (Mary) Apel, Larissa (Paul) Bongers, Nicole, Matthew, Aubrey and Alyson Hoeft.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Christopherson; and father-in-law, Fred Hoeft.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Congregational Church, 310 Broadway St., Eau Claire. The Rev. Dr. Mark X. Pirazzini will officiate.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls, and one hour before the time of services Wednesday at the church.
