Blood donors recognized

The Red Cross Blood Drive held on Feb. 20 at First Lutheran Church collected 39 units with 11 first-time donors. A one-gallon pin was awarded to Jerry Thompson.
The bloodmobile collected 240 units during its three-day drive Jan. 7-9 at the Albert Lea National Guard Armory. There were six first-time donors.
The following pins were awarded.
One gallon: Barbara Geesman, Albert Lea; Joyce Flink, Albert Lea; and Donna Bailey, Albert Lea.
Two gallons: Amy Wadding, Albert Lea.
Three gallons: Arnold C. Troe, Emmons; and Jean Herfindahl, Albert Lea.
Five gallons: Ted Yost, Albert Lea.
Seven gallons: Betty Lyle, Oakland.
Ten gallons: Glenn L. Doty, Albert Lea.
Eleven gallons: Lyle Senholtz, Albert Lea; Jim Klocek, Freeborn; and Mary Lee Thompson, Albert Lea.
Sixteen gallons: Lorene Olson, ALbert Lea.
Quizno’s provided the cookies and Kwik Trip provided the orange juice for the bloodmobile’s canteen.
