Albert Lea isn’t facing the same flooding problems as the cities along the Red River, but we would hope our city’s residents could come together for the good of our community as well as they have in places such as Fargo, Moorhead and Grand Forks.

Considering the success and giving nature of recent charitable campaigns, we like to think would could display our muscle as well as our checkbooks.

The actions of the Red River residents are striking and commendable.
