The Blue Earth River Conference Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America spring event will be held Saturday. March 28, at Grace Lutheran Church, 918 Garfield Ave., Albert Lea.

Registration and coffee will begin at 8 a.m. The program begins at 8:30 a.m.. and ends at noon. Registration is $5 per person.

The theme is “Act Boldly by Education.

The program will be by Dr. Earl Thompson, who will speak about the Nepal Social Service Fund, which has provided agricultural, educational and medical assistance to the people of Nepal since 1984.

Temple Talks will be by Good Earth Village.

Offering objectives are: Women of the ELCA churchwide, Nepal Social Service Fund and the food shelves in Faribault and Freeborn counties.
