The Albert Lea Salvation Army hosted its annual volunteer appreciation dinner Monday at the Albert Lea Citadel Corps and Community Center, 302 Court St., Albert Lea.

The dinner was in response to the outpouring of support for the Salvation Army during the last year. Several awards were presented to members of the community for outstanding service.

Trudi Harig was presented with the Dove Award, Kathy Quinn was presented with the Christmas Award and Al Larson was presented with the Community Builder Award.

Top individuals to raise money during the Christmas campaign season were Betty Sabinish, Robert Anderson and Daniel Pham.

Top organizations and clubs to raise money during the Christmas campaign season were the Golden K1 Kiwanis, Albert Lea Medical Center and Christ Episcopal Church.
