Thanks for donations to Scouting for Food

Thank you to the residents and businesses of Freeborn County for supporting the 2009 Scouting For Food campaign. The community service project for Scouting collected both monetary and food donations for the Salvation Army and Ecumenical Food Shelf at First Presbyterian Church.

As of Sunday, the campaign acheived a total collection of 5,352 pounds of food. Thank you for your support and generosity. We hope all of our efforts will help provide food for many families during this challenging period of time.

If the Scouts missed picking up your food donation or if you would like to make a donation, please feel free to contact the Salvation Army at 373-8776.
