The United Methodist Church invites the public to a polka worship service on Sunday, April 26, at 10:30 a.m. The Stratford Rhythm Ramblers will lead the service. This four piece band is well known in Central and Northwest Iowa. They play a wide variety of music — old favorites, country, waltzes, polkas and gospel.
The words set to favorite pieces are words of praise and thanksgiving to God and uplifting to the spirit.
Members of the band are: co-leader, Charlie Claussen, of rural Ft. Dodge, Iowa, is the vocalist and plays the keyboard and guitar, co-leader, Dixie Johnson of Stratford, Iowa, plays the accordion, Wayne Lautner of Churdan, Iowa, plays trumpet and Dan Redman of Gowrie, Iowa, plays drums.
Everyone is welcome at this service.
An offering will be received to cover the expenses of the day.
