The Albert Lea Branch of the American Association of University Women has selected Barb Lang, left, as Woman of the Year for 2009-10.

Lang was a longtime educator in Albert Lea and Burnsville and currently serves as a clinical supervisor for student teachers with Luther College. She has been a member of AAUW in Albert Lea since 1999 and served on many committees. She is now co-president. Lang is also an active community member, especially with Albert Lea Community Theatre.
