The Kiwanis Golden K II recently held its election for officers and directors for 2009-10.

The officers are: Clifford Rask, president; Red Meshon, president-elect; Melvin Hobbiebrunken, vice president; Roger Lonning, past-president.

Directors are: Dick Haug, Jonathon Green (one year); Alfred Landaas, Terry Tarvestad (two years); Lloyd Bottleson and Ralph Gilman (three year). The secretary and the treasurer will be appointed later by the incoming president. Jim Tomson and Gerhard Kleih are the present secretary and treasurer, respectively.

Kiwanis Golden K II will meet every Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Freeborn County Historical Museum beginning May 20.
