National Tourism Week is May 9-15, and to celebrate tourism in Minnesota, Miss Minnesota Angela McDermott will be signing autographed photos and greeting the public at the Albert Lea Travel Information Center on Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

McDermott works at the Austin Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, and she, with Director Cheryl Corey and Betty Olson, will be displaying information about the city of Austin; its attractions, dining, lodging information and more.

This year is the 26th Annual National Tourism week, an opportunity to learn more about new places to visit in your own state.

Cookies and coffee will also be served.
