Bulldogs softball breezes to pair of wins

Josie Brackey was tough Saturday for the Lake Mills softball team in the Northwood-Kensett tournament in Northwood.
Brackey gave up just one hit in two games and struck out 26 batters combined as the 10th-ranked Bulldogs picked up an 11-0 win against Northwood-Kensett and a 4-0 win over Central Springs.
Brackey no-hit the Vikings over seven innings as she struck out 11 and walked just one.
Against the Panthers, Brackey allowed just one hit and struck out 15 for her second win of the day.
Northwood-Kensett dropped its second game of the day 8-4 to Rockford.
