Items reported missing

A chainsaw and a few other items were reported missing from a garage on the 300 block of 10th Avenue at 9:17 p.m. Thursday.

Fire reported in microwave

A fire was reported in a microwave in an apartment on the 100th block of North Broadway Avenue at 11:10 p.m. Thursday, according to police reports. Fire department officials stated the fire was in the microwave after the operator set the timer too long. The fire burned a Hot Pocket and smoke filled the apartment. Firefighters ventilated the apartment.

Three cited for underage consumption

Three underage people were cited for underage consumption at 2:34 a.m. today near the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Ramsey Street. According to police reports, Shawn Nicholas Peter Biggins, 19, Miranda Minnie Crawford, 18, and Gorden Lance Hagen, 19, were cited. Another juvenile was also noted as cited in the police log.

Man cited for disorderly conduct

Police cited Mario Azumpa Lopez, 23, for disorderly conduct at 5:02 p.m. Thursday on the 400 block of Garfield Avenue. The incident was reportedly tied to an ongoing feud between two individuals related to a fight at the Stop & Go Food Mart earlier in the week.

Suspicious mail reported

A woman on the 700 block of Minnesota Avenue reportedly received a suspicious piece of mail Thursday from an unknown man. The mail included a naked picture of a man and a letter saying the man wanted to meet the woman the next day.
