Tribune sports column Jon Laging has written a book, and it is for sale at the Albert Lea Tribune office.

His book, “A Minnesota Life and Sports,” is about his life over the last 70 years and describes growing up in Minnesota and living here.

“If you have watched or played sports, traveled, fishing or just observed the Minnesota scene, you will find many similarities between the author and yourself,” the book’s back cover reads.

“If you want an engaging Minnesotan’s thoughts on his state, his life and interests accenting sports and travel, this is the book for you.”

Laging — pronounced “logging” — has a column that appears on the sports page of the Albert Lea Tribune on Thursdays. The book costs $19.95 and is available at the front counter.

The Tribune office is at 808 W. Front St. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
