I frequently check the Tribune’s obituaries, but today a column caught my eye. It was the story of the Armistice Day Storm and Sherman Boone. I enjoyed reading about that day as I remember both the storm and Sherm Boone. I was a small child and our radio provided static all the following day as my family waited for Sherm to provide the news.

If I remember correctly KATE was the one of three stations available on our radio. The article was a nice walk down memory lane.
