Be sure to turn in your donations, your company’s pledges and whatever other necessary payroll documentation you have to the United Way of Freeborn County by Thursday.

That’s tomorrow. The last day of the year.

In past years, the United Way could accept donations given after Dec. 31 to the campaign. But not any longer. Now, it only ends up going toward next year’s campaign.

But we want to make the $645,000 goal for this year’s campaign. They are at $588,000.

So let’s pitch in and get those slips, that cash and give whatever else you can to Ann Austin and her crew today or tomorrow — but not any later.
