Granicrete Minnesota announced that Joe Longe of Longe & Sons Solid Surfaces has joined the growing team of national and international installers for the innovative new product, Granicrete. Longe provides all of Granicrete’s overlayment system designed for home improvements in Southern Minnesota.

Granicrete products includes:

Countertop Resurfacing System. This eighth-inch concrete overlay is designed to be applied directly over existing countertops to create the high end look of granite, marble, and popular stone countertops.

Flooring/Shower Resurfacing System. This overlay system is designed to turn old bathroom tile or any indoor/outdoor sub-floor or concrete surface into highly authentic tile or stone finishes including flagstone, slate, marble or travertine.

Granicrete was recently featured on “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” in Albert Lea on Dec. 7, 2008, and has been featured on other episodes of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” on several episodes of TLC’s “Flip that House,” including a “green” episode, on NBC’s top-rated Sunday morning show for the East Coast called “Welcome Home” and on HGTV’s “Designed to Sell.” This product is the winner of the Most Innovative Product Award at the World of Concrete tradeshow.
