Lorraine Willman, 86

Memorial services for Lorraine Florence Willman, 86, of Albert Lea will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Mike Gerhardt will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service.
Lorraine died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at her home.
Lorraine Florence Willman was born on March 21, 1923, to Chris T. and Florence (Klose) Larson in Albert Lea. She grew up in Albert Lea and attended Albert Lea Schools. On Oct. 13, 1938, she was united in marriage to Richard F. Willman in Northwood, Iowa. Lorraine attended First Lutheran Church and Church of Christ in Albert Lea. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Lorraine spent her years as a homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, working with flowers, bird watching and traveling. She also liked watching television and especially enjoyed the show Dancing with the Stars. Lorraine loved spending time with her family visiting and having coffee and rolls.
Survivors include her son, Richard F. (Butch) and wife Jean Willman; daughter, Dorothy and husband Henry Sorenson; grandchildren: Tina (Andy) Hammer, Ricky Willman, Cheryl (Wayne) Breitenfeldt, Donald S. Lammers and Bradley (Jennifer) Lammers; step-grandchildren: Michael Pinkham, Julie (Mike) Dorman, Debra (Dean) Beighley and Robert (Karen) Sorenson; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Donna (Lowell) Lunde; and many other family members and friends.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard F. Willman; daughter, Alice Jean, in infancy; and granddaughter, Andrea Fahner.
