Wolverine girls move to 3-1 with victory over Hope Lutheran

Kalli VanRyswyk has powered the Glenville-Emmons girls’ basketball team in each of its victories this season and once again she was pivotal Friday in a 46-43 victory over Hope Lutheran in Winona.

VanRyswyk had her second 20-plus point game with her 24 points and she also added 11 rebounds.

The Wolverines (3-1, 2-0 SEC) trailed 18-17 at halftime but took better care of the ball in the second half and went on to outscore the Patriots 29-25 in the second half.

Kailey Davis added nine points while Reina Saltou scored eight, Emily Belshan four and Alayna Hall one for Glenville-Emmons.

The Wolverines face Schaeffer Academy Monday in Rochester.
