Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D., announced that the Augustana band is touring Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska during its interim tour Thursday, Jan. 28, through Wednesday, Feb. 3.

During the week, the band will hold nine performances in eight different cities. The tour culminates with a home concert in Sioux Falls on Friday, Feb. 5, at the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science.

Local students in the Augustana band include: Katie Olson, an alto saxophone player, and Derek Harmon, an baritone saxophone player. Both are from Lake Mills, Iowa,

 Thursday, Jan. 28: St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Omaha, Neb., 7 p.m. public concert

Friday, Jan. 29: Northwest High School, Omaha, Neb., 10 a.m. concert

 Friday, Jan. 29: Bellevue West High School; Bellevue, Neb.; 2:15 p.m. concert

Saturday, Jan. 30: Pella Senior High School; Pella, Iowa; 7 p.m. concert

Sunday, Jan. 31: Lutheran Church of Hope, West Des Moines, Iowa morning worship services and 7:30 p.m. concert

 Monday, Feb. 1: Robbinsdale High School; Robbinsdale, 12:25 p.m. concert

Tuesday, Feb. 2: Mayer Lutheran High School, Mayer, 9:45 a.m. concert

Tuesday, Feb. 2: St. John Lutheran Church, Owatonna, 7 p.m. concert

Wednesday, Feb. 3: Worthington High School, 11:20 a.m. concert

All tour concerts are presented at no charge, with an offering taken.
