The Semcac board of directors is looking for volunteers to represent the interests of the consumer from Freeborn County. The Board includes three groups: one-third represent public officials; one-third represent the consumer; and one-third represent the private sector. Semcac serves the counties of Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Houston, Mower, Steele and Winona. The individuals elected as consumer representatives will work with the other board members to determine goals and set policies for the private, non-profit corporation.

Board meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the second Monday of every month at the St. Charles Community Center. Board representatives are reimbursed for mileage and child care during their participation on the Board. The individuals elected to fill these vacancies will complete alternating terms up to four years, which will begin in April.
