Intimidating woman with gun sign not nice

In response to the letter to the editor March 3, 2010, titled “Mean neighbor blows snow on house” by Mr. Dave Lee.
There was no damage to your friend’s house and his meter was not covered up. This is a fact, as the Albert Lea Police Department came after you called them, and they could see no problem with the way the snow had been blown.
The snow has been blown the same way for more than 30 years. And your friend’s parents were always happy and helpful.
And as they grew older, we were always happy to help them when we could; his mother thanked me many times for blowing her sidewalk and opening her drive so she could get out.
The only basement window covered was done by your friend, and he went to his neighbors when she wasn’t home and blew snow four feet high against her house, covering a basement window and making it difficult to get in and out her back door. My wife watched him do it.
His neighbor said nothing about it to anyone, so don’t accuse her of creating problems. I noticed it and cleaned it up for her. No one said a word to him.
Also your friend who you are trying to portray as a good neighbor put a sign in his window saying something to the effect that he has a .357 magnum and carries it three nights a week and to guess which three. He put this sign in a window that about the only person that could see it would be his neighbor, who is a lady living alone. This is also on record with the ALPD.
Your friend is not only a bad neighbor; he isn’t much of a man to try and intimidate a woman who lives alone.
Also let your friend know the eyes of our neighborhood are upon him.
