Permit issued for Cargill project

During March, a building permit with a valuation of $335,000 was issued to Cargill, 703 13th St., for what the city’s report lists as “remodel/alteration.”
This permit was one of 35 with a listed valuation of $884,102 issued in March by the City of Albert Lea Inspection Department. Thus, the total valuation for city-issued permits for the first three months of the year increases to $1,783,988.
At the end of March 2009, the city report showed a total valuation of $2,997,539 for permits issued.
A permit with a valuation of $100,000 was issued during March for an interior remodeling project at McDonald’s, 2808 N. Bridge Ave.
Another March permit with a valuation of $135,000 was issued for a new single family dwelling on Pride Lane.
The Freeborn County Planning and Zoning Office issued seven building permits with a listed valuation of $60,647 in March. This increases the estimated valuation of for county permits issued during the first three months of the year to $164,807.
