Terry Folie, 59

Terry David Folie, 59, died Monday, April 19, 2010, of a heart attack while visiting his son in Alabama on his big Harley road trip.
Terry was raised in Clarks Grove. As a graduate of Albert Lea High School, Terry went on to the Navy and served in Vietnam. Other occupations he held included supervisor at Farmland Foods, over-the- road truck driver, self-employed as owner of Folie Construction.
Terry loved his family and friends and spending his time grilling, fishing, boating, camping, gardening, woodworking, stargazing and being a grandpa. Terry was a proud owner of a Harley Davidson and could often be found giving rides and visiting Sturgis.
Terry was proceeded in death by his parents, Adele and Phillip Folie and Chad Wilson. He is survivied by his wife and partner of 30 years, Janie Folie; sons: Matthew and Phillip Folie and Kevin Akiyoshi; sisters: Marie Wilson and Mary Wilson; brother, Jim Folie; grandchildren: Marcus, Axel and Zachary Folie; daughter-in-law, Julie Folie; and friends: Denny Schneider, Johnny Grant, Dave Mines; best friends: Bill and Trudy Banks; and many others too numerous to mention.
A memorial service will be held outside East Freeborn Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. All are welcome to attend.
