Voters, be aware of faulty elections

A few weeks ago, I wrote an open letter of concern to Secretary of State Mark Ritchie and State Attorney General Lori Swanson expressing my concern that the November 2010 elections be more closely monitored.
In a response in the Albert Lea Tribune from a representative of Ritchie, citizens were assured that all past elections were properly handled and the future would show the same consideration.
Lori Swanson’s representative mailed a letter stating that my concerns could be handled locally by contacting our district attorney, our sheriff and county auditor. With a grin, I responded by writing a return note saying my concern was not local but in the metro areas.
I have since learned that the Minnesota Majority has released findings to television station KSTP showing the felons who voted and the double counting of ballots in the metro areas of Ramsey and Hennepin counties.
This information is available on Minnesota Majority website with a list of names of the felons and research still in process.
Readers be educated on current candidates and vote accordingly.
