Lowell and Kathy Jacobson of Albert Lea announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Jacobson, to Jade Pestorious, the son of RaAnna Beckel of Austin and Paul Pestorious of Conger.

Amy graduated from Albert Lea High School in 2000. She is employed at a daycare provider in Belle Plaine.

Jade graduated from Alden-Conger in 1999. He is employed at Marcy Construction in St. Louis Park.

An Oct. 2, 2010, wedding is planned at Saint Theodore’s Catholic Church with a dance open to the public at the Eagles at 8 p.m.
