Matt and Betsy Schultz of Alden announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie, to Mark Chryst, son of Jeff and Kris Chryst of Albert Lea.

Katie is a 2006 graduate of Alden-Conger High School and a 2010 graduate of St. Mary’s University in Winona.

Mark is a 2004 graduate of Albert Lea High School and graduated from Winona State University in 2007. Mark recently took a position with Eastmans’ Publishing in Powell, Wyo.

An Aug. 14 wedding will be held at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church in Wells.
